The oven wasn’t turning on. I’ll spare the gruesome details for a later post, sufficed to say that my did figured it out again, amidst my cautions. I really don’t know what I’m doing anymore these days. Lucky I have her.
My pipe sculpture for the drainage

Front Yard brainstorm
Ok, here’s what I have with which to work:
1. North flower box
2. Brick walkway
3. Bay window flower box
4. Asphalt driveway
5. Large central tree
6. The yard
7. South flower box
1. North flower box:
Clear flower box, and remove the messy stone liner (saving it, though). Remove a sufficient layer of top dirt in order to start fresh. Install underlayment after picking out my plants and creating an opening in the underlayment for the chosen plants. Install a drainage/level spreader to route water away from the house. Lay down the mulch, maintaining a design shape around the house and walkway. Use a few stone blocks to take up portions of the mulch as planters. Lastly, use fire/chemical/etc to create a good border between the edge of the mulch and the yard. Rinse and repeat for the Bay Window Flower Box and the South Flower Box.
